Staff Systems Engineer

Required:

• Strong RF and digital communication systems hardware / software experience and familiarity with high volume consumer SoC ICs
• Strong experience on RF and digital debugging / troubleshooting capability
• Solid programming skills on writing automatic tests for platform characterization / debug
• Solid test equipment operation skills: Spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators
• Good knowledge on PCB including schematic design and layout with hands-on experience with PCB prototyping and optimization of board design
• Nice to have knowledge on simulation of RF circuits using ADS, HFSS or similar tools
• Ability to generate test plans/procedures and product documentation
• Ability to clearly communicate with partners and internal departments is a must
• BS in Electronic or Telecommunications engineering plus 6-7 years of experience, MSEE plus 4-5 years of experience or Ph.D. plus 1-2 years of experience

The ideal candidate will possess great understanding of Digital Systems, RF engineering, Communications Systems and circuit fundamentals. In this role, you will focus on most of the following functions: 

• RF systems architecture and analysis
• Digital systems design, debugging and verification
• Definition of features and technical requirements
• Design of evaluation platforms
• RF and Digital debugging of HW designs
• Pre-silicon and post-silicon verification & validation (V&V), troubleshooting, and debug
• Generation of performance procedures, application notes and other product related documentation
• Alpha-customer support, and the development of marketing and applications collateral
